I haven't been here in a while so I thought I'd go ahead and update my blog. I have a new camera that I'm pretty excited about. It is my first camera that is NOT just a point & shoot. I have soooo much to learn about photography.

Well, it has been quite a long time since I posted on Xanga. I have been learning Facebook. The novelty of that has now officially worn off.

God is at work in my life. I am being challenged lately to really think about what it means to live a "full" life. This isn't a new concept to me, yet it hasn't permeated my being to affect dramatic change.

Here is the scripture God dropped into my lap during my study yesterday:

16 This is what the LORD says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,

17 who drew out the chariots and horses,
the army and reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never to rise again,
extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:

18 "Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.

19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:16-19

I know that God is doing a "new thing" in me! And I perceive it! Isn't that awesome?

God is so good to mess with my blind pursuits.
